Derrick got a taste of the entertainment industry while studying medicine when he got involved with promoting artists, and organising events. His interest in entertainment, soon led him to Film and TV, starting out as an extra and graduating to guest roles and appearances in award winning TV series, documentaries, and corporate productions.

His insatiable passion for people and adventure has led him to interview everyone from Neale Donald Walsch (Best selling author of Conversations with God) to Ron Jeremy (Famous American Porn star).

An accomplished presenter and producer, Derrick has shot, edited and produced pieces for Onion Media Group, Foxtel Aurora and TitoTV. He recently set up Plop Entertainment with leading TV Presenter and tutor Nick Piper, creating the How To Be A TV Star Home Study Program for aspiring TV stars,
