The Archives

Things I built before this.

Old websites, kept rather than deleted. Most are full static copies, frozen at the point their hosting was retired. Two survive only as a screenshot from the Internet Archive — for now.

About these copies

These are archives, not restorations. Sign-up forms, checkouts and contact forms have been made inert, so nothing collects data or takes payment. Links that were already broken have been left broken — the point is a faithful record, not a tidied-up one.

Everything runs as flat files. No database, no logins, no updates to install, nothing left that can be quietly compromised.

Still missing

Not everything survived intact. What is still incomplete:

  • Derrick Siu V1.1 — home and profile pages recovered from the Internet Archive. Deeper pages and media were never captured.
  • Derrick Siu V2.0 2011 — screenshot only, linked from the V2.1 entry above.
  • NUUD nuud.one — screenshot only. A Shopify store, so the product data and theme live in that account rather than in any file export.

If an old hosting export or a folder on a drive turns up, any of these can be rebuilt properly — an original beats a reconstruction every time.
